What does happiness mean to you? Well, a lot of things it seems …

The club would like to congratulate our member, Conor O’Brien, who placed 1st for his Mono Print at the finals of the Photographer of the Year in the Talbot Hotel on the 23rd February. December Results

This months theme lead to varied and wonderful results as we each took inspiration from the music that has inspired us. It was really interesting to see how each photographer chose to interpret their favourite song.

Huge Results at the National Shield!

Who are we?

While the camera, the lens and techniques used are important, the image is made with the heart, the mind and the eye. A combination of all of these will produce an image that has impact and remains with the observer long after the initial viewing.

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
